Summary
남편을 보낸 뒤 화자는 슬퍼할 겨를 없이 혼자 농사를 배워 가며 자식들을 키웠다. 지금은 힘이 달려 일꾼과 아들들의 도움을 받고 자신은 물 관리를 맡는다. 논밭은 살아온 세월 그 자체라 손에서 놓지 못한다.
