사람에게 질려 2016년 6월 광주로 이사하며 가족과 연락을 끊었다. 여덟 시면 불이 꺼지는 적막을 견디지 못해 서울의 불빛을 찾아 걷기도 했다. 퇴촌 관음리에서 만난 이웃이 철마다 작물을 나눠 준다.
