Summary
수술 뒤 항암 치료를 받는 동안 화자는 하얀 천이 어디까지 덮이는지 헤아리며 삶과 죽음을 생각한다. 움켜쥐고 살아온 일을 후회하다가도 '이쁜 암'이라는 말에 위안을 얻고 운명을 받아들이기로 한다.
