스물세 살에 올케를 통해 아버지가 술자리에서 혼인을 승낙했다는 소식을 들었다. 거부했으나 아버지의 불호령에 입을 다물어 승낙이 되었고, 두 달 만에 전통 혼례를 치렀다. 큰눈 때문에 친정 길도 한 달 뒤에야 갔다.
